The Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art announced today that five sponsors have provided funding so that the Museum can waive admission fees this summer. Starting Memorial Day weekend and continuing through the end of September, admission will be free for everyone, thanks to the Ad Astra Foundation, Tom & Judy Love, Robert Glenn Rapp Foundation, The Walton Family Foundation and Lou C. Kerr/The Kerr Foundation. The Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art is a nonprofit organization located at 1900 W. MacArthur St. on the campus of St. Gregory's University in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The Museum is closed on Mondays. Admission is free this summer. Poker Run to benefit Dakota Stark who is battling Leukemia. Poker run will begin at National Oilwell Varco. First bike out at 9 a.m. - last bike out at 9:45 a.m. Poker run will end at Robber's Cave State Park where lunch will be served. $10 a hand or 3 hands for $20. T-shirts will be available for purchase. Plaques given out for best & worst hand. Door prizes will be given out as well. Everyone is welcome - bikes, showcars & all street legal vehicles. ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO DAKOTA STARK.
