The Sophisticates of McAlester will be hosting their "Women''s Expo 2015" on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the SE Oklahoma Expo Center in McAlester. This expo will include products and services geared toward the interests of women. Free Admission, Door Prizes, Free Shopping Totes to the first 100 Women through the Door! Plus much more! Ladies - bring those guys too! They will not want to miss out on the Okie Nation Outdoor Show going on the same day in the Expo Hall! Fun for the Entire Family!

John Shuller, On the Road with Mr. and Mrs. J.G. Puterbaugh, March 20; and
Author Bill Anderson, A Story in Stone: 50 Years Searching for Indian Relics in Southeast Oklahoma.

Subject: AARP Provides Free Tax Filing Assistance

Beginning Jan. 26, free tax help is available at McAlester Public Library every Monday until April 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. AARP volunteers will assist the public with filing state and federal forms. There is no charge for this service, provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. NOTE: The library will be closed March 16, so no assistance that day.
