Doug "dougo" Sims
Dougo is a true Okie born in Hartshorne. His dad's job soon moved the family to Phoenix, Arizona where Dougo grew up and graduated high school. In his early twenties, he moved back to Oklahoma to be near relatives. Dougo always had a tug to be in radio. Over six years ago he fulfilled that tug when he began broadcasting the morning show on KESC/KOCD 103.7. After five years, the station was moved to Shawnee and changed to jazz. Dougo chose to stay in the McAlester area and began broadcasting on Rock 105.1's afternoon show. He loves music, adventure, family, friends and sports. He is always on the go and loves meeting new people. This picture is from his very recent visit to Vegas. |
